Academics are the backbone of any good school. At BBCA, we see academics as a matter of stewardship – the stewardship of a child’s God-given potential. High academic standards and captivating lessons enable our students to reach their highest potential. Our teachers provide individual attention for students that need a little extra help or are ready to try an additional challenge. They make sure each student understands what he’s learning and help take each student's strengths to the next level.
We primarily use A Beka and BJU Press curriculum.
Certified teachers use a Christ-centered approach to all subject areas.
Beginning in first grade, students enjoy weekly chapel services. Devotions are taught daily in all classes, and Christian principles are emphasized in all areas of study.

Students are encouraged to work together to learn spiritually, academically, physically, and emotionally. Character training is an integral part of our students' education.
Our thematic curriculum emphasizes early math and literacy skills, including book knowledge and appreciation, phonological awareness, alphabet recognition, print awareness, early writing, gross motor skills, and oral language development.
Our program includes an array of learning activities including daily Bible, phonics, pre-reading, and math instruction. Science and social studies concepts are taught through units as students learn more about their own community and the world.
Our program includes a balanced curriculum featuring a strong phonics foundation, systematic reading instruction focused on comprehension, hands-on math experiences, creative writing, and a discovery approach to science. Enrichment opportunities include art, music, Spanish, physical education, library, computer, and academic field trips.
Our middle school program is designed to provide the balance necessary for students to grow spiritually, academically, and physically in a secure and safe setting. Our middle school culture and curriculum prepares our students for high school, boosting our students’ confidence and preparing them for more responsibility.
Our high school program is designed to help the student grow as was described concerning our Lord in Luke 2:52. “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.” The subjects taught meet the general requirements for college entrance with a biblical filter applied.
A sampling of the higher learning institutions where our graduates have continued their educations include: University of Florida, Florida State University, Trinity Baptist College, Liberty University, Pensacola Christian College, Georgia Southern University, Georgia State University, and Ogeechee Tech.
Many of our alumni have gone on to serve in community service roles, including spiritual ministry, first responders, and business owners.
