From fun events to important deadlines, this calendar encompasses all you need to know about senior year.

Community Service

Reminders

COMMUNITY SERVICE

High school students are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of community service each school year. Transfer students will be adjusted accordingly. Community Service is worth a half credit.

Community Service Verification Forms must be turned following service completion.

The final deadline to turn in completed forms is May 23, 2025.

SAT or ACT Testing

Students are required to take the SAT or ACT at least once to be eligible to receive his or her diploma.

Upcoming SAT dates are:
-Oct. 5, 2024 (registration deadline Sept. 20, 2024)
-Nov. 2, 2024 (registration deadline Oct. 18, 2024)
-Dec. 7, 2024 (registration deadline Nov. 26, 2024)

Scholarship Opportunities

The CollegeBoard's Big Future and Scholarships360 offer extensive scholarship directories.

Georgia Futures

The Georgia Student Finance Commission initiatives and outreach provide numerous opportunities for college bound students.

BBCA's commencement ceremony will be held on May 29, 2025 at 6:30 pm at BBCA.

Graduating seniors should report to the school in their cap and gown at 6:00 pm.

Family and friends of our graduates are welcome and encouraged to attend. 

Please be mindful to arrive prior to the 6:30 pm start time.

We request that the graduates dress appropriately for the occasion. Girls should wear dresses and shoes. No sneakers or flip-flops. Boys should wear slacks, white shirt, ties, and shoes. No sneakers or sandals.

Graduation rehearsal will take place at BBCA on May 28, 2025 immediately following the 1:30 pm Awards ceremony.

Both the awards ceremony and graduation practice are mandatory for all seniors.

The last day of school for seniors, if all their coursework is complete, is May 23, 2025.
